Taijin has an urban area that is the third largest in China, after Beijing and Shanghai.
Tianjin has a relative flat terrain sloping from north to south. It enjoys distinct four seasons in a year,but autumn is the best season. The annual mean temperature is about 13'C, and the annual precipitation is 500-700 mm.

Tianjin is a famous cultural city with a long history. The main scenic sites include Mt.Panshan Scenic Area , Dole Temple , Huangyaguan Great Wall , Wanghai Tower and Dagukou Fort. Besides, Confucian Temple, Grand Mosque, Food Street and Ancient Cultural Street are also interesting places.
