    Zhejiang Province is situated along the shore of the East Sea. Zhejiang is home to many minority ethnic groups including Han, Hui, Manchu and Miao. Zhejiang is the province with the most islands in China, with more than 200 islands along its coast.Area:over 100000 km2.
There's a saying that illustrates the charm of Hangzhou: 'In heaven there is paradise, and on earth there are Hangzhou and Suzhou.'
    Zhejiang possesses famous mountains and rivers, so the tourist industry is becoming increasingly developed. Within its boundaries, Mt.Putuo, Mt.Tiantai, Nanxi River, Fuchun River-Xin'an River and Xihu Lake(West Lake)are all national major famous scenic areas, attracting thousands and thousands of tourists both from home and abroad, especially, Xihu Scenic Area is among the ten famous scenic areas in China. There are also other interesting places, such as the world famous Qiantang Bore, the famous Taoist mountains-Beishan Hill in Jinhua and Mt.Tianmu in Lin'an, etc.
    As a key national tourist city, Hangzhou is picturesque all year round. The West Lake, one of the most beautiful sights in China, is located right in the heart of the city. West Lake is as beautiful as a painting.
    Zhejiang enjoys clear-cut seasons due to its subtropical geographic location.
    Zhejiang is the home of tea, of which Longjing Tea and Huiming Tea are higly renowned.
